Mediaproxy showcases LogServer version 7.6 at NAB2010

New features offer richer, cost-effective logging experience and repurposing

Melbourne, Australia, April 10, 2010…Mediaproxy, a leading provider of broadcast, compliance logging and content monitoring solutions, will showcase at NAB 2010 Version 7.6 of its flagship Enigma LogServer™ system.

LogServer 7.6 is the latest version of the leading compliance logging solution used by customers throughout Southeast Asia, USA, Canada, UK, India, Africa, Europe, as well as most major broadcasters throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Mediaproxy’s commitment to ASI and IP-based logging continues. ASI and IP-based logging allow for access to all meta data present in the entire transport stream and hence a much richer logging and monitoring experience compared to the significantly smaller amount of meta data available in SDI and analog-based solutions.

v7.6 features include:

• New 4-channel 2RU LogServer for 90 days recording in both WMV and native resolution MPEG-2 formats. Seamless sub-clip extraction from WMV or the native MPEG transport stream
• Redesigned and enhanced user web-interface for review and monitoring
• New Teletext and Closed Caption decoders providing original position and color-coding in both overlay and script streams.
• Chinese (simplified and traditional) versions of the user interfaces
• Seamless integration of the XDT’s Catapult protocol for fast media migration and backup.
