MEDIAPROXY INTRODUCES ENIGMA LOG SERVER™ VERSION 7

Monitoring and logging of remote services now supports IPTV .

April 14, 2007, Melbourne, Australia :mediaproxy, a leading provider of broadcast, remote logging and monitoring solutions, formally introduced at NAB 2007 Version 7 of its flagship Enigma LogServer™ system.

Enigma 7 is the newest version of the successful logging solution that has achieved success with market penetration in Southeast Asia, North America, UK, India, as well as being implemented with most major broadcasters throughout Australia.

The new Enigma 7 platform incorporates several enhancements, which are provided to increase long-term usability, support the expanding IPTV market and be easily adapted to the different regulatory requirements in every region. These features include:

  • Web browser interface for review, streaming, configurations and monitoring of all logging resources
  • Support for IPTV/ASI transport stream sources
  • Searchable caption logging & notification of keywords
  • Support for multiple caption and text channels (e.g. English/Spanish/private data)
  • Thumbnail view in status monitor and alarm history
  • RSS integration for "vodcasting"
  • Client localization for Chinese, French, Spanish and German
  • Improved viewer ratings interface in review and monitoring clients
  • New 6-channel server in 2RU with SDI inputs and up to 8 embedded audio channels, RAID5 and redundant power supplies
  • New 4-channel server with up to 365 days of storage at 512kbps
