Erik Otto has had an extensive career in broadcast, graphics, visual effects and
high-end computing, working mainly on large-scale projects in Europe.
He studied economics, physics and applied mechanics in Germany.
:mediaproxy has taken leverage of his many years of experience in management and software
development to cement its position as the market leader in brodacst monitoring and compliance

Erik has also founded XDT Pty LTD, a member
of the 'XENON Technology Group', specialising in custom software developmentfor Film and DI
workflows.
John O'Halloran - Head of Software Development
John's career in broadcast and video technologies started after studying
Engineering at Melbourne University. Working in television operations and
video editing, he was prompted to move into broadcast software engineering,
developing digital effects software for Ampex, Axial and Grass Valley in the
USA. His work from this time forms the basis of motion tracking technology,
underpinning current 3D/2D systems around the world. He has since been the
principle developer and architect on such things as TV station on-air
automation systems, ingest and playback technologies for commercials via
satellite distribution, watermarking technologies and compression systems.
His areas of expertise and special interest are digital compression,
watermarking, digital distribution, speech-to-text technology and
dimensionalization.
Michael Coop - Chief Engineer
With 30 years experience in the broadcast and computer industries, Michael has a unique understanding of material workflow systems, planning, developing, and building television control and display systems. Some of his specialized involvement has been with Philips, Commonwealth Games International Broadcast Centre, Sony, and Digital Equipment Corporation.
