Viasat join global customer base

MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA. July 31st, 2008 - :mediaproxy today announced that Viasat Incorporated, a DBS distributor and TV broadcaster owned by the Swedish media conglomerate Modern Times Group, is moving forward with mediaproxy's LogServer&trade solution.

Working closely with partner Gee Broadcast in London, Viasat will deploy mediaproxy's 2RU SDI LogServer™ solution for compliance logging and monitoring early next month.

Broadcasting to a large number of Nordic, Baltic and European countries, Viasat required a high level of multichannel audio integration. A total of 16 embedded audio channels per video channels are recorded.
