WIN Corporation implement LogServer ASI

Melbourne, Australia, June 8, 2011 - Mediaproxy Pty Ltd today announced that Wollongong-based WIN Corporation has deployed one of Australia's largest installations of LogServer ASI at its new state-of-the-art Mediahub play-out facility.

A total of 30 LogServers are continuously recording and monitoring in excess of 100 channels from various ASI multi-program transport stream sources logging both compliance and broadcast quality formats.

In addition to providing easy access to covering compliance delivery, ad verification, and engineering analysis at its Mediahub play-out centre, WIN also utilises Mediaproxy's Monwall Pro at its broadcast centre in Wollongong to also monitor all of its channels via LogServer ASI's unique multi-tiered streaming interface that provide concurrent access to both high resolution and low bandwidth live streams.

Anthony Colquhoun, Network Engineering Manager at WIN, states, "LogServer ASI provides a comprehensive feature set for all our logging and off-air monitoring requirements. Mediaproxy's Monwall Pro multi-viewer also enables very cost effective remote monitoring of all our streams for quality control from our main facility."

"LogServer ASI's flexible architecture enabled us to provide a suitable and reliable solution to WIN, says Erik Otto, CEO at Mediaproxy. "WIN's extensive network also required for dedicated LogServers to record only selected program streams from various muxes routed via IP. We look forward to working with Anthony and his team for many years to come."
