Mediaproxy offers a professional and flexible solution for compliance logging and content monitoring
that eliminates banks of long-play recorders, and replaces them with compact servers linked to your
existing LAN, WAN and Intranet. Media is recorded on RAID protected local storage for weeks, months, years
or archived to optical disk or deep storage (i.E. NAS or SAN). LogServer supports SDI (SD and HD) and
Analogue inputs including multichannel audio.
LogServer eliminates time consuming copy and search and allows online retrieval of media in seconds by any
authorised person, from almost any location.
LogServer also includes confidence monitoring of diverse program streams from multiple sites
including real-time event indication and email notifications.
The server can operate with multiple resolutions and bit rates simultaneously, allowing customers to
optimise their LAN and WAN loading for streaming and archive quality.
LogServer offers configuration, review, extract and monitoring through an intuitive and low-bandwidth
cutting-edge web-interface based on Microsoft's latest Silverlight technology. It also significantly
simplifies the deployment of client access and administration.
Mediaproxy also provides seamless access to logged contents and live streams via consumer set top boxes,
delivering a cost effective replacement for RF ring distribution system as part of our unique solution.
Please contact one of our sales representatives to find out how LogServer can provide other
opportunities to monetize your investment rather than 'just getting rid of tapes'.
Powerful and flexible cross-platform media player
LogPlayer offers an intuitive and powerful web-based user interface with familiar play
techniques, while harnessing the extended functions of the system to search, extract,
stream and review recorded media. Searches may be performed against the As-run, EPG data,
Caption text, or other events in the archive.
Clip bookmarks and fully searchable custom comments may be saved to identify and locate
specific items after the event. Media clips may be extracted from a larger segment, and
saved to HDD, CD, or DVD for re-use and distribution.
Features include VTR like controls for smooth media scrubbing, seamless subclip
extraction from both WMV and native MPEG-2 transport stream
*, carousel view for
EPG and As-run and powerful search tools.
Extraction and playback can be performed across clips boundaries. Customers can generate
subclips with choice to embedd caption data or save them as separate transcript text files.
Caption data can either be displayed alongside the media or as a fully reconstituted
overlay.
Media can be also reviewed in full screen through Mediaproxy's unique Silverlight based
web-interface on both Mac and PC. Users are also able to create local and shared bookmarks
including fully searchable custom comments to collaborate with other users.
Multipanel streaming client
Mediaproxy LogServers are also able to generate near real-time streams of the captured
media and associated payload.
These may be viewed individually, or as a display 'wall' to view all logged programs on a
single screen. Events, captions and system status can also be displayed alongside each program.
All individual panels can be configured to suit different arrangements.
MonWall is a fully intergated client of the leading edge LogServer cross-platform web-interface.
Burn-in data into extracted clips and transcode
LogBurner takes an extracted clip and creates a new clip with burnt-in time, date, captions and
custom graphic like station logo. All data components to be burnt-in can be freely positioned
and previewed on a template before creation.
With LogBurner broadcasters are no longer required to commit to burn-in time, date, caption,
etc on encode. Clips can be kept 'clean' for potential repurposing and only selected clips
targeted for compliance need to be created.
LogBurner also allows to transcode clips to DVD, Flash, iPhone, iPod, WMV, etc for repurposing
or asset publishing.
In addition, customers are able to extract closed captions and save them as a separate text
file without having to process the extracted clips.
LogBurner comes free with any LogServer v7 product.
Extraction from native MPEG-2 transport stream only available in LogServer ASI
