Galaxy Satellite Broadcasting Limited (GSB) - Hong Kong select mediaproxy’s ENIGMA 4 solution for remote compliance logging and monitoring of broadcast services.

Melbourne: August 29, 2003 - mediaproxy pty ltd, Australia’s only provider of, broadcast, remote logging and monitoring solutions, announce today the sale and deployment of their ENIGMA 4 logging solution to Galaxy Satellite Broadcasting Limited (GSB) Hong Kong, one of the world's largest producer of Chinese- language programming. The sale was executed via premier system integrator, Ideal Systems Asia Pacific Ltd.

This is the largest Asian broadcast deal for mediaproxy pty ltd to date, and it signifies the global appeal of mediaproxy’s unique ENIGMA logging solution. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Searching for a Winner

Following an extensive review of competitive offerings, Ideal Systems Asia Pacific Ltd recommended mediaproxy’s ENIGMA logging solution to Galaxy Satellite Broadcasting Limited (GSB). The solution will initially provide compliance logging and monitoring for 44 (GSB) channels within Hong Kong.

Announced in February 2003, Galaxy Satellite Broadcasting Limited is 51 percent owned by Intelsat, and 49% owned by TVB. The Galaxy Satellite Broadcasting service will be an all-digital, multi-channel service featuring a range of premium Cantonese- and Mandarin-language programming. The satellite broadcasting service will launch by year-end 2003 with 24 channels initially.
