Network TEN adopts Enigma LogServer
During 2002, TEN was in the market for a solution to replace their existing cassette-based logging systems.As a national broadcaster with central play out, we feed multiple transmission facilities over a large continent. TEN required the ability to review quality media and move that content around the network. The ability to preview across time zones offered a distinct advantage.
:mediaproxy provided a solution that not only addressed our off-air recording requirement, but also provided the ability to stream near-live programmes for preview purposes at facilities operating in different time zones.
The system has been valuable in media sales follow-up, as well as technical review of on-air symptoms and proff of compliance to broadcast standards.
Logging of alarm events and integration with automation 'as-run' logs are icing on the cake.
